At NJHPDI, we pride ourselves on delivering top notch continuing education courses to dental health professionals from our North Jersey location in River Edge. However, because we know some of our participants drive from long distances and because we want to continue giving high quality education to professionals from other areas, we’re making our way to Bethesda, MD between Friday May 15th and Saturday May 16th. We were there last year and we can’t wait to return. During our time there, we will have two dynamic speakers giving two comprehensive and beneficial hands on courses. To read about our course topics, the hotel, credit information, and all other details, read after the cut! 🙂
Dr. Gregori Kurtzman, a first time speaker at NJHDI, will be giving a brand new course, EASIER, BETTER & STRESS-FREE DENTISTRY: The Endo-Restorative Continuum. This six credit course will be given on Friday May 15th, 2015 from 9 AM – 4 PM. After taking the course, attendees will have a full understanding of the relationship between endodontics and long term tooth prognosis. During the hands on portion, attendees will be able to bring 2-4 intact extracted teeth where they practice their access and shaping techniques using rotary and hand instruments. Instrumentation techniques will be compared while attendees are able to have any and all questions answered while they try their hand at new techniques. Dr. Kurtzman lectures internationally on restorative dentistry, endodontics, implant surgery, periodontics, and prosthetics. We’re happy to welcome such a well versed speaker to our institute!
The second course will be the very popular ATRAUMATIC AND EFFICIENT ORAL SURGERY: New Concepts and Technology given by Dr. Karl Koerner. This course is a must for general practitioners who wish to improve their oral surgery skills as well as learn and understand new concepts and technology. The highly knowledgeable Dr. Koerner makes the new and highly technical concepts easy to understand and the hands on section helps ensure that every attendee has questions about their technique answered. Participants of this course always appreciate Dr. Koerner’s case-by-case approach to this topic. This is a course where you can go back to the office on Monday and immediately implement what you’ve learned. For this course, we are giving a new option where you can either register for only day one (the lecture portion worth 7 CE credits) OR you can register for both day 1 and 2 to attend both the lecture and the hands on portion (14 CE credits).
The pricing for the Bethesda, MD courses as well as all of our courses can be found on our website. Keep a look out for our 2015 South Jersey/Philly Event in October where we will be giving seven courses in 3 days in Mount Laurel, NJ!
